American Legion Baseball Scholarship
A scholarship in the amount of $500.00 will be awarded each year by the Wisconsin American Legion Baseball Association to an American Legion baseball player in accordance with the following criteria:
- The recipient must be a player who is in his final season of American Legion Baseball eligibility
- The recipient must have plans to attend an institution of higher learning whether it be a four-year college or university, technical school or two-year school
- The recipient must be a good citizen whose conduct on and off the baseball field reflects credit on himself, his family, his community and the American Legion Baseball program
In selecting the recipient for this award, consideration shall be given to the recipient's need.
Nomination for the award shall be made by the appropriate regional director on a regular rotating basis subject to the approval of the board of directors.
The recipient must be a Wisconsin Resident.
