The National American Legion marketing team has developed a toolkit to help draw local and state media attention to our "Get Out The Vote" efforts.
The toolkit contains useful materials to make the media aware of the program. It includes a sample press release and media alert, social media suggestions, talking points, a document that outlines how to get your post involved in the election, and instructions on how to put all of this information to good use.
Working with media in your area, you will be able to showcase our "Get Out The Vote" efforts as one of many ongoing initiatives of The American Legion, while also reaching as many citizens as possible so everyone has a chance to get to the polls on Election Day.
